Tour de Peninsula is coming to San Mateo
On Sunday, August 2, approximately 1,200 bike riders will be riding west bound on 3rd Avenue between 8:00 am and 10:00 am, with the heaviest concentration in the 8:00 am hour.
There will be some parking restrictions and lane closures due to the ride but we think that they will be done by the time the store opens at 10:00 am.
No parking notices for Sunday AM will be placed on meters the afternoon of Friday, July 31. There is plenty of parking in the garage on the corner of El Camino Real and 2nd Street if you have difficulty parking.
The Tour de Peninsula, which starts and finishes at Coyote Point Park raises money for the San Mateo Parks Foundation and the Bicycle Sunday. In addition to the ride, there are fun activities for kids at Coyote Point all day.

Sorry about the inconvenience but supporting our parks is becoming more important than ever.
